We kick off our new season this autumn with a special showing at the Watershed of a film for which our Chairman, Mike Grant, was Associate Producer, Co-author, Sound Designer and B Cameraman. Den of Thieves is showing at the Watershed on Wednesday, 4 September at 8.00pm. It lasts around one hour and 15 minutes..
Summer Recess Following the conclusion of Rosemary Mason’s course Writing for the Screen, we’re now taking a break until September. Success for three Southwest Scriptwriters Steve Hennessy’s radio play The Song of the Whale is to be broadcast on Radio 4 on Tuesday, 16 July at 2pm.

Newsflash! Following the successful talk in January given by Catherine Johnson, writer-in-residence at the Bristol Old Vic, she has agreed to attend one of our regular meetings on Tuesday, 27 February. On this occasion we plan to read out scripts from as many people as possible, with priority going to those who attend our meetings..
