Take February’s Literal Challenge
The Literal Challenge is a social enterprise funded by donations that supports a growing, international community of writers by issuing regular writing challenges aimed at stimulating your creativity. It isn’t a competition or script submission opportunity, but a chance to be motivated to spend time each day over a given period working on new writing projects.
February’s 28 Plays Later challenge throws down the gauntlet to write a play a day in response to briefs from the organisation. If you send in a play a day (to prove you’ve met the challenge), you’re eligible for a share of a funding pot divided between the writers who have met the deadlines to complete all 28 plays. You can also choose to take the creative route and complete the workload at a more leisurely pace for the kudos of having achieved this output.
The Literal Challenge is registering participants for 28 Plays Later now.
